Very few people know that Microsoft has applied to become a member of the Skip Ahead Insider Program, which allows select developers to access advanced builds of future Microsoft products before they are made broadly available to the public.
Xbox Insider Program is available for Xbox One and Windows 10 (mobile version) users. The Xbox Insider Program is a program that gets you early access to the latest Xbox features before they are released to the general public, and gives you priority support. The program is only available to Xbox Insiders who have opted-in to the program.
We’ve seen that one of the best benefits of Microsoft Insider status is that you can try out new products before they’re released. But there is a downside to being an insider. The downside is that you also get a lot of bugs that will be fixed in the stable release. But you can always brag that it’s thanks to you that the bug was fixed, because it wouldn’t have happened without the post. Talk about insider programs: Microsoft also has a similar program for Xbox users, the Xbox One Preview Program.We’re talking about Microsoft’s Xbox One line of gaming consoles, including the Xbox One X and Xbox One S. Speaking of the program: We have learned that Microsoft has reopened this program and is accepting new applications for Alpha – Skip Ahead Insider status. Here’s a statement from Microsoft’s Xbox program manager about the program:
Invitations are open to all Xbox Insiders who follow the steps on the subreddit….. No matter which Xbox Insider Update Preview ring you’re in, you have a chance to participate in the Alpha Skip-Ahead! As the number of places is limited, invitations will be sent on a first-come, first-served basis to users who have completed the questionnaire.
These are the steps you need to take to participate in the program:
- If you are interested in participating in the Alpha – Skip Ahead Ring, please notify Microsoft no later than September 22 at 2:59 PM EDT by completing the steps below.
- On the Xbox, press and hold the power button until the power menu appears.
- Select Problem report.
- Select Add new problem.
- Find a new category tile called Future Build.
- Choose a tile and tell us why you are interested in participating in the ring.
